Dr. Stephen PaceWinning the National Urban League Young Professionals Honors Award is truly humbling and I am honored to be selected amongst the many other passionate leaders. I believe it is my responsibility to give back to the African American community through mentoring, volunteerism, and leadership. The weekly mentoring sessions with my high school mentees has been such an awesome experience because I get to impart qualities and character values in the younger generation. This has undoubtedly been an inspiration on their future educational and career choices, and a motivating experience for them as well as myself. Furthermore, the ability to positively impact others has always been my passion and I am thankful for the opportunity to be recognized for my efforts.
