L'Hava Goes Giddy Up to Beat MS ( Multiple Sclerosis)...

L’Hava meets NFL legend Jim Brown

Most of us would not expect to run into NFL stars at the New York Stock Exchange.  For L'Hava Israel, that occurred several years ago when she met NFL legend Jim Brown, 2 time Superbowl Champion Ray Lewis, and NFL star/entrepreneur Reggie Howard while she led a group of college students and their professors on a Wall Street tour.

Amid the excitement,  L'Hava recalls another unexpected experience.  She began to suffer extreme leg fatigue. 

As a typical New Yorker, L'Hava often traveled by subway and bus.  She began to hobble with a cane in crowds of New Yorkers always rushing to their next destination.  

Ultimately, L'Hava received life-changing news from her doctors. MS was causing her walking challenges. L'Hava has since been a lemons to lemonade story.  

Following her doctor's advice, she enrolled in a therapeutic horseback riding program.  Since joining the program, she rode in a couple of horseback riding shows and represents her riding school as an ambassador at events and in the media. 

L'Hava continues to volunteer as a mentor to college students in a NYC public college that boasts alum who include notable business leaders.

She's excited that an Atlanta based college student she mentors was the fortunate recipient of Robert A Smith' generous graduation gift student loan payoff to the Class of 2019.  

L'Hava believes in a life of possibilities, helping others, and looks forward to a cure for MS for herself and for so many in the MS community.
