Fields Jackson, Jr. Named Chief Diversity Officer of Bonfire Infrastructure Group


Jackson will oversee the expansion of diversity and talent acquisition strategies across Bonfire Infrastructure’s (BIG) operating units

Denver, CO (August 4, 2022) — Bonfire Infrastructure Group (BIG), holding company for Bonfire Engineering and Construction and SPARQ Open Fiber, is proud to announce the appointment of Fields Jackson, Jr. to Chief Diversity Officer, where he will lead Bonfire’s diversity, equity, and talent development efforts.

As Chief Diversity Officer, Jackson will plan and implement talent strategies, including recruitment and onboarding processes, with hiring managers and new hires. He will be creating an internship program through building relationships with local trade schools and universities across the country while concurrently collaborating with all employees to achieve the HR goals. Jackson will use his background and expertise to proactively drive people solutions, processes, programs, practices, and policies to effectively attract and engage the workforce needed to drive business results.

Fields Jackson, Jr. is currently the CEO and Chief Cheerleader of Racing Toward Diversity Magazine; President of the College Diversity Network; adjunct professor at Shaw University; distinguished visiting professor at South Carolina State University; visiting professor at Southern University, Baton Rouge, LA and former executive director of the HBCU Business Dean Roundtable.
