Top Black Political Strategist CJ Jordan, makes cameo appearance on Food Networks Cupcake Wars, Episode, Saturday, November 16th With LilyRose Cupcakes and Confections.

Washington, DC—Tune in to see if CJ’s cameo appearance makes the cut on Saturday, November 16, 8:00 pm (EST) when Atlanta based LilyRose Cupcakes and Confections battles for a $10,000.00 prize on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars. 

Lily Rose founded over 3 years ago, by Carmen R. Adams, a Cleveland, Ohio native, and Corporate Intellectual Property Attorney, who quit her job to follow her passion for baking delicious desserts. 

As word spread on Capitol Hill, this former volunteer Congressional Staffer to the late Congresswomen Stephanie Tubbs-Jones (OH) and baker extraordinaire, was selected to cater the 2013 Ambassadors Ingurual Ball, a diplomatic soiree and who’s who in business, politics and entertainment that honored the re-election of President Obama. 

The Republican National Committee selected LilyRose to cater their Black History event at the historic African American Civil War Museum, which pays homage to black and native American Civil War Veterans.

Carmen R. Adams:

Adams holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Cleveland State University.  Carmen has worked for several prominent law firms and Fortune 500 companies in the United States. In 1999, she was appointed Vice President and General Counsel of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, where she managed the Museum’s varied and diverse legal matters. Carmen now serves as General Counsel for Shumake Global Partners, L3C, and for the Office of the Honorary Consul General for the Republic of Botswana. Carmen is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, the National Bar Association.  Her community involvement includes board appointments with the Annapolis Film Festival (Annapolis, MD), he Foster-Fuller Foundation, seeks to promote positive images of people of color through photography, music and dance, poetry and creative writing, and other art forms; and by providing opportunities for youth and young adults to experience first-hand the positive attributes of the African Diaspora. 

Sonya Burge:

Barge is the Founder, President & CEO of Water Walk Enterprises, Inc. dba Tiny Treasures, for Early Childhood Development, founded in 2005 in Hampton, Georgia.  A graduate of Michigan State University, Sonya holds a BS in Political Science. Sonya is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, the National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI), the Georgia Child Care Association and a past member of the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Sonya has 2 children, Tyler and Haley, and resides in Locust Grove, Georgia.
