Liberty Tax Service’s Hispanic Initiative Soars to New Heights by Bringing the Executive Directors of the White House Initiative on Education Excellence for Hispanics and IME (Institute of Mexicans Abroad) Together for Liberty’s Hispanic Education Summit 2012!
On June 1st, 2012, these governmental leaders will meet with local University and high school educators, and Latino leaders from Virginia to discuss deployable processes to address the issues with education for Hispanics in the U.S. hosted by Liberty’s Una Familia Sin Fronteras Hispanic Initiative and Foundation.
Virgnia Beach, VA — Liberty Tax Service, the fastest-growing tax preparation company in the industry’s history, continues its commitment to the Hispanic community by creating and hosting Hispanic Education Summit 2012, the first-of-its-kind Summit that will focus on educations issues for Hispanics across the nation. Liberty’s Hispanic initiative and Foundation, “Una Familia Sin Fronteras” (A Family Without Boundaries), has gathered these leaders together in Virginia Beach, VA in an effort to continue its commitment to provide FREE financial and fiscal education for Hispanics across the U.S., and to bring attention and deployable solutions to the issues of higher education for Latinos in general. To date, the Una Familia Sin Fronteras initiative and Foundation have reached hundreds of thousands of Hispanics across the U.S. with FREE vital information that will help them more successfully enter the mainstream economy. Partnering with over 400 public sector and governmental agencies across the nation, including school districts, universities, The White House Initiative on Education Excellence for Hispanics, The U. S. Dept. of Education and its FAFSA program, nonprofits, Mexican Consulates, Headstarts, churches, and libraries, to name a few, Liberty Tax Service has kept FREE outreach education services and higher education opportunities as the focus of the Una Familia Sin Fronteras corporate initiative and Foundation.

The Summit Meeting will be held at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on Friday, June 1st at 10:00 a.m. “The issue of education for Hispanics in the U.S. is a constant concern and one in which Liberty has chosen to take a leading role,” explains Martee Pierson, Liberty’s Director of Diversity Programs and Executive Director of the Una Familia Sin Fronteras Foundation. “We are thrilled that we were able to bring these exceptional Hispanic leaders together in an effort to work towards deployable solutions that will benefit our Latino communities across the U.S. This Summit will be used as a model that we can take to other states help combine the efforts of so many leaders and educators who are all working toward the same goal.
